handle it

i have been struggling lately with the concept of home and where i belong. happiness is a choice and i definitely need an attitude adjustment. after a miserable three weeks in utah and a much anticipated but over-romanticized trip home to bakersfield i realized that we can all make an effort to be happy wherever we are, that there's something for someone everywhere, and that we can replace bitterness with service and love from our Savior. i figured out what i need to do, now the fun part is- application. ive been told by a friend to "handle your business, girl". i'm on it.

but no matter what, the best best best thing i've realized after the last month is that home is where this face is:

now... if i could only be motivated to actually go outside in this warmth-forsaken land.
